I want to thank so many of you for the past two years of success in defending freedom in education.

When we first started out, Common Core and the unauthorized collecting of data was not an issue many were aware of in Colorado. Thanks to all of you, we have put these issues on the forefront.

But there so much more that needs to be done.

You see, at the legislature, your rights and the rights of families and taxpayers have been placed in jeopardy.

We continue to see the inability of both parties to stop a runaway government when it comes to taxes and data collecting.

We see politicians telling others what to do, but not many people who listen. They are more interested in their own personal agenda rather than putting people first.

Now more than ever, we need REAL leadership. We need to elect leaders who understand the virtue of respecting one another instead of tearing each other apart.

We need to elect leaders who represent YOUR VOICE when it comes to common sense legislation instead of special interest projects that are designed more for re-election rather than actually DOING something.

We need “problem solvers”, not problem “talking-abouters”

This is why after prayerful consideration with my wife, Junco, I am officially announcing my run for State Senate in District 22 for 2018.

Although I will have to resign my position as Executive Director/President of Freedom for Education, my mission remains the same: to give local families, local business owners, teachers, taxpayers and students the kind of representation they deserve.

This won’t be easy.

Running for the biggest swing seat in the state, means we will definitely be one of the biggest targets for attack by those backing big government and big union interests.

But with YOUR help we will overcome their policies of lies and manipulation and bring together ALL communities and build a better Colorado together.

But I can’t do it without your help.

This is why I’m asking for you to join my team by your pledge of support to take back Senate District 22 in 2018.

I hope you will prayerfully consider a contribution to my campaign.

In closing I want to say, I am blessed and honored by all of you that have supported us in the past, I am grateful to all of you who have emailed, volunteered, testified or helped at an outreach event.

So let’s continue to move forward, serve one another…and WIN!
